Jeff Kaufman's ["Good Reasons for
Alts"](https://www.jefftk.com/p/good-reasons-for-alts) is a very insightful
read.

Alt in this context stands for "alternate account".

Apparently there's a whole ordeal dedicated to studying linguistic styles from
people in order to uniquely cluster / identify them, this is what
[stylometry](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stylometry) is.

Like [Jeff](https://www.jefftk.com/p/linking-alt-accounts), I agree that:
