The recently released [Apple
Sports](https://apps.apple.com/us/app/apple-sports/id6446788829)
[app](https://support.apple.com/guide/apple-sports-app/welcome/web) was surely a
great way to keep up with the World Cup on the go.

It is very polished; it does one thing, and does it well. Simple yet effective.
I do recommend it.

It's especially handy when you're not able to watch a match live for whatever
reason.

If you're able to watch a match in real time then it's better to leave your
phone in airplane mode, otherwise chances are you'll get a goal notification
from the app before you get to see it on the TV due to broadcasting delays.
