Surely you can afford to be picky¹ with your code fonts these days.

Don’t know where to start? https://www.codingfont.com/ (via John Gruber) is a good start:

I highly recommend you disable showing the font names while you play, to avoid any bias toward fonts you already think you have an opinion about.
