In Europe the GDPR generally entitles candidates to receive a copy of their data (e.g. verbatim interview notes) within 30 days.
You can also apply the same idea to request performance reviews and calibration notes from your current or former employers.
I used this various times throughout the years in both scenarios. It is very effective. YMMV.
